NASA And SpaceX To Launch New Crewed Missions

Mar 14, Kathmandu- NASA and SpaceX are aiming to launch the agency's Crew Dragon mission to the International Space Station (ISS) after a launch attempt was canceled Wednesday due to technical issues.

The mission was originally scheduled to launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket at 7:48 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

But NASA said the launch was canceled due to a hydraulic problem with the Falcon 9 rocket's ground support clamp arm.

According to NASA, mission managers met Wednesday evening and decided to postpone the launch attempt until Thursday due to high winds and rain forecast along the spacecraft's flight path.

The mission will carry four astronauts to the ISS. It will bring home four Crew Dragon astronauts, including NASA astronauts Sunny Williams and Butch Wilmore, who have been stranded in space since June.
