Mar 16, Kathmandu- A devastating storm has hit South America. At least 33 people have died in the storm. Among those, 12 have been killed in Missouri. While eight have died in Kansas.
The storm has caused extensive damage in the southeastern states. Many vehicles have been overturned and many homes have been damaged.
Three people have died in a car accident caused by a dust storm in Texas. In addition, deaths have been reported in Oklahoma and Arkansas.
According to the Power Outage, more than 2.4 million homes in six states—Texas, Missouri, and Illinois on Saturday afternoon.
Severe weather warnings have been issued for central Mississippi, eastern Louisiana and western Tennessee.
In addition to these three states, flash flooding warnings have also been issued for parts of Alabama and Arkansas as severe weather continues to batter the Southeast.
The National Weather Service says these flash floods could be deadly.
A high tornado watch was issued for central Mississippi earlier Saturday morning.
