Mar 17, Kathmandu- The settlement has become ruins after the locals of Manebhanyang in Bhojpur left their villages due to the terror of monkeys.
The settlement has become a ruin after about 150 families from this area moved elsewhere in the past decade and a half. As migration increased mainly due to monkeys and water problems, the settlements of Archale, Bhorleni, Damaichhap, Gurase Ranagaun, Thakle and Mohoriya have become empty. 98 percent of the people from these areas, which were formerly ward numbers 8 and 9, have left their villages and gone elsewhere. Locals complain that it is very difficult to make a living living in the settlement that everyone has abandoned. Many farmers are facing problems because of monkeys.
