Mar 17, Kathmandu- 46 students are participating in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) in Manang. The examination to be held on Chaitra 20 has been assigned to Lokpakri Secondary School in Chame, the district headquarters.
As there are no examinees from the four local levels of the district, including Narpabhumi Rural Municipality, Lokpakri Secondary School has been assigned as the examination center among the three municipalities, said Dhruv Prasad Koirala, Head of Education Development and Coordination. 41 regular and 5 class promotion examinees will participate in the examination.
21 students from Prakash Jyoti Secondary School in Naso Rural Municipality, 4 from Annapurna Secondary School in Manang Neshyang Rural Municipality, 14 from Lokpakri Secondary School in Chame Rural Municipality and two from Lokpakri Secondary School in Khula will appear for the SEE. He said that two students from Prakash Jyoti Secondary School and three students from Lokpriya Secondary School will appear for the grade improvement exam.
This year too, following the policy of making the principal of a school that does not have a student taking the SEE as the center president, Shyam Krishna Panta, principal of Bhanu Secondary School Tal, is being appointed as the center president. He informed that all the examinees have reached the examination center.
