Mar 18, Kathmandu- In the PM Cup Men's National Competition, Karnali Province has set a target of 219 for Koshi Province. Karnali, which won the toss at the Extratech Oval in Bhairahawa, scored 218 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs.
For Karnali, Arjun Gharti played the highest unbeaten innings of 88 runs. He hit 11 fours and 2 sixes in 95 balls. Openers Sunil Dhamala and Bipin Rawal scored 13 and 10 runs respectively. Nischal Rawal was caught for 20 runs and Himanshu Shahi for 46 runs. Prakash Jaishi scored 18 runs while no other batsman could score double figures.
For Koshi, Bipin Mahato took the most wickets with 3. Dipesh Kandel and Prakash Karki took 2 wickets each, while Shravan Kisku and Sujan Thapaliya took 1 wicket each.
This is the sixth game of Koshi, this is the fifth game of Karnali. So far, both these teams have registered 1-1 wins.
