Mar 22, Kathmandu- In the current fiscal year 2081/82, papad worth 18 million rupees has been imported till the end of Falgun (8 months). During that period, 786 thousand 457 kg of papad worth 188 million 254 thousand rupees was imported, according to the Customs Department.

Of this, 786 thousand 314 kg of papad worth 188 million 235 thousand rupees was imported from India. Similarly, 143 kg of papad worth 18 thousand rupees was imported from China, according to the department's data.

Revenue collection of 101 million 130 thousand rupees was collected from the import of papad in that quantity.
