Mar 22, Kathmandu- A boy who had gone to play cricket in Ekdara Rural Municipality-4 of Mahottari has drowned in a pond.

Alok Kumar, the 10-year-old son of Shrawan Yadav of Ekdara Rural Municipality-4, died by drowning, said Santulal Prasad Jaiswal, spokesperson of the District Police Office.

Alok, who had gone to play with his friends in a cricket field built in a field in a forest in the same municipality-3, drowned in a pond near the playground, he said.
