Mar 23, Kathmandu- A cyclist has died on the spot after being hit by a bus in Janakpur.

On Saturday evening, a bus (Bagmati Province 03-001 Kha 3441) heading from Janakpur to Kathmandu hit a cyclist who was crossing the road on the six-lane road section from Janakpur to Laxminiya.

Rabindra Mandal, a local resident of Sinurjoda, Ward No. 1, Laxminiya Rural Municipality, died after being hit by a bus, informed Barun Bahadur Singh, police spokesperson at the District Police Office, Dhanusha.

The police have informed that the bus driver and the bus are under police control.
