The country is moving forward at a pace of development: Prime Minister Oli

Mar 23, Kathmandu- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the country is moving forward at a pace of development as times change.

Prime Minister Oli made this claim at the 'Together for Tomorrow: Youth and the Prime Minister' program organized by the National Youth Association Nepal today.

“The government has taken steps towards addressing the problems, saying that there are causes and solutions,” said Prime Minister Oli. He also said that he himself had given the slogan of Digital Nepal and that it had brought about a major change in the technology sector.

We have built many medical colleges, we have gone ahead to build basic level hospitals in every municipality. Some have already been built and some are in the process of being prepared," said Prime Minister Oli, "It will bring a big change in the health sector of Nepal. “This will bring about a major change in Nepal’s health sector. The government has taken steps to prioritize education and health.”

He also said that the current time is a time of achievement and that we should not act only emotionally.

"Our daughters have dreamed of becoming specialist doctors, they are waiting for that to happen, some of them are now serving as specialists, this is an achievement of the present time", said Prime Minister Oli, "We should not act emotionally, whatever problems there are now, they have come with the pace of development, and we should move forward by managing them".

Prime Minister Oli also urged people to engage in entrepreneurship as it is only through entrepreneurship that employment opportunities can be created and production and productivity can be increased through agricultural modernization.

Around 140 youths from the fields of medicine, law, science and technology participated in the program. They presented the situation and problems of their respective fields, according to the Prime Minister's Secretariat.

Prime Minister Oli urged people to focus on their fields and bring a concrete report, expressing his commitment to include it in the government's upcoming policies and programs and budget.
