Twitter's Famous Blue Bird Logo Sold For $34,000

Mar 23, Kathmandu- Twitter's famous blue bird logo has been sold for 34 thousand 375 dollars at RR auction. The blue bird logo was removed from the company's previous San Francisco headquarters after Elon Musk became the owner of Twitter (now X) and changed its name to X.

The logo weighed 560 pounds (254 kilograms). RR Auction has been dealing in 'rare and collectible items'. However, the company has not revealed the identity of the buyer.

Tesla CEO Musk bought X (formerly Twitter) for $44 billion in 2022. However, investors such as Fidelity Investments saw a steep decline in the value of their investments due to Twitter's problems in retaining advertisers after the acquisition.

Musk's goal is to transform Twitter into an "everything app." Accordingly, he changed Twitter to X. According to a February report by Bloomberg, the X social media platform is in talks to raise $44 billion from investors.

These discussions come as Musk's other businesses have skyrocketed in value following Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election.

Musk has previously put various Twitter items up for sale, including logos, memorabilia, office furniture, and common items like kitchenware.

Previously, an Apple I computer and accessories sold for $375,000, a check signed by Steve Jobs in 1976 for $112,054, and a first-generation iPhone for $8.75 million.
