Mar 24, Kathmandu- Disaster response work is underway to protect human settlements by adopting all options to control the fire that broke out at a plywood factory in Dang.
Lumbini Province Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya has said that there is continuous contact and coordination with security agencies, and response work is being done to prevent the fire from entering human settlements.
"Continuous contact is being made with security agencies. Fire engines are arriving from other districts of the province to prevent further damage" he said, "Response work has been progressed to prevent further damage".
A fire has broken out at the Shangrila plywood factory in Khaira, Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City-9. The fire has not yet been brought under control as the wood, raw materials, and machines used to make plywood have burned.
