Mar 25, Kathmandu- The District Police Office, Jhapa, has taken two people into custody with narcotics.

On Monday, a police team deployed from the Narcotics Control Bureau Kakarbhitta and the temporary police Mechibit in Mechipul, Bhadrapur Municipality, Jhapa, took two people into custody on a motorcycle from India to Nepal.

While checking the motorcycle (Me 6 Pa 9977) on suspicion while it was coming to Nepal, the motorcycle driver Bhupendra Lawati and the passenger Rajiv Chaudhary were taken into custody with prohibited narcotics.

Jhapa District Police Office spokesperson Mehegi Lama Tamang informed that 9 grams 01 milligrams of brown sugar were found in their possession.

The police have taken the motorcycle and both the people into custody along with the narcotics and further investigation is underway.
