Mar 27, Kathmandu- An international scientific conference has been held in Nepal.
The conference, organized by the Nepal Materials Science Society, began on Thursday at the Himalaya Hotel in Lalitpur.
The conference was inaugurated by NAST Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Dilip Subba.
The scientific conference was co-organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Sudurpaschim University, NIMS, WPI, MANA, Amrit Science Campus, Pulchowk Campus.
Scientists from Nepal, Japan, America, India, China, Switzerland, Australia and other countries are participating in the conference.
The three-day conference will feature 114 scientific presentations based on six different categories.
Scientists will give presentations based on topics such as energy storage and conversion, hydrogen production, and climate change.
The program is attended by vice-chancellors of various universities, scientists from different countries, researchers, and students.
The conference will provide researchers studying in Nepal with the opportunity to gain international research experience in their own country, according to a statement issued by the organizer, Nepal Materials Science Society.
