Mar 27, Kathmandu- Actress and national women's football player Anjila Tumbapo Subba will arrive in Nepal on Friday to promote her film 'Anjila'.

She will land at Tribhuvan International Airport at 10 am on a Qatar Airways flight. During her 4-day stay in Nepal, she will visit 9 cities, including Kathmandu, to promote the film.

On Friday, she will visit the halls of Kathmandu, Kirtipur and Lalitpur and interact with the audience. After that, she will visit Pokhara, Nepalgunj, Birtamod, Dharan, Itahari, Chitwan and Dang and meet the audience in the halls there.

Director Milan Chams said that Angela's visit to Nepal this time will be purely focused on promoting the film. The film based on her life story is currently earning well in Nepali theaters. Preparations are also underway to screen it in 19 international markets from Friday.

Angela herself plays the lead role in the film. Angela is currently playing professional football in Greece. She plays for Nis Atromitos in the top division women's football league there.

Angela is the second Nepali player to play club football in Europe after Sabitra Bhandari Samba and the first Nepali goalkeeper.

She returned to Greece after playing in the International Women's Football Championship held in Kathmandu last month.
