Mar 28, Kathmandu- Supreme Court Judge Abdul Aziz Muslim has refused to issue a short-term interim order in favor of outgoing Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority Kul Man Ghising.
During the preliminary hearing, Ghising's legal practitioners had sought an interim order to restrain newly appointed Executive Director Hitendra Dev Shakya from working.
Justice Muslim then told the legal practitioners that a ‘short-term interim order’ would not be issued, but rather an order to withdraw both parties.
The Supreme Court has not ‘updated’ the status of the case on its website since the initial hearing, and no order has been made public.
Now the court has been adjourned for lunch. After the lunch break, a preliminary hearing will be held on the petition filed by newly appointed Executive Director Hitendra Dev Shakya.
