Tear Gas At Monarchists' Demonstration

Mar 28, Kathmandu- Police have fired tear gas at a protest by monarchists in Tinkune, Kathmandu. The police fired tear gas after they tried to break the restricted area.

The participants scattered after the tear gas was fired.

People were coming from different places to protest for the meeting. The police had closed the road leading to Baneshwor. The police had to use force after they tried to break the police cordon there, it is said.

The king's supporters continued to come to Tinkune from different places to gather for the meeting. Tension has arisen before their meeting begins.
