Rana, Mishra And Others Were Taken To The Govt Attorney's Office

Mar 30, Kathmandu- MP and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Senior Vice President Dhawal Shamsher Rana and RPP General Secretary Rabindra Mishra, among others, who were arrested in the Tinkune incident, have been produced before the District Attorney's Office in Kathmandu.

They were arrested on Friday evening. Since the Attorney's Office and the court will be closed on Saturday, they were produced before the Office of the Government attorney today, Sunday.

Although preparations were made to produce them at the Attorney's Office at 10 am this morning, the police delayed and produced them at the Attorney's Office at around 5 pm.

While being produced at the Public Prosecutor's Office, the others were handcuffed and detained in a prison jersey, while MP Rana was not. Rana was taken in a separate police vehicle, not with the other detainees.

The detainees have been taken to the District Court, Kathmandu from the Public Prosecutor's Office. While being taken to the court, Mishra's handcuffs were also removed and he was taken in a separate vehicle with MP Rana.

The other detainees have been produced in another police vehicle to the court.

On Friday, two people were killed, vandalized, looted and set on fire during a protest by pro-monarchy supporters in Tinkune, Kathmandu. After the same incident, the police have arrested more than 100 people, including Rana and Mishra.

The police are also searching for others.
