Mar 31, Kathmandu- The Private and Boarding Schools' Organization, Nepal (PABSON) has made public its three-year action plan.
At a press conference organized here today, PABSON Chairman Krishna Prasad Adhikari said that the action plan will be effective and achievement-oriented for the development and expansion of education in Nepal.
The action plan states that the private schools will continue to be active in making the educational quality provided by them more relevant to the times and competitive in the national and international arenas, and for that, it will collaborate with all three levels of government as needed, and will emphasize innovation to enhance the standard of school education by conducting necessary promotional activities to keep it within the reach of all Nepalese.
Similarly, PABSON has included in the action plan the creation of a more investment-friendly environment by making all necessary efforts to maintain the system of private schools being owned by the company in the School Education Bill currently under discussion in Parliament regarding the issue of ensuring investment in private schools.
Similarly, there is a plan to be responsible for the service facilities of teachers and employees working in private schools and to involve them in the government-run Social Security Fund.
