MP And Former Health Minister Deepak Bohara Passes Away

Apr 01, Kathmandu- MP Deepak Bohara has passed away. Senior leader of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Bohara passed away at Om Hospital in Kathmandu while undergoing treatment. He was an elected MP from Rupandehi-3.

He died while undergoing treatment at Om Hospital in the capital after a long illness, RPP central member Janak Raj Pathak has confirmed.

He was infected during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, his health has been in trouble. Although he recovered from the infection, he was unable to speak.

Shortly after, cancer was discovered in his throat.

Bohor was taken to Delhi, India, and New York, USA, for cancer treatment.

He is also a former health minister. Bohor became the Minister of Health and Population on 31 Ashwin 2074.
