24 Arrested In Tinkune Incident

Apr 01, Kathmandu- Police have arrested 24 more people on charges of involvement in the Tinkune incident in Kathmandu.

Apil Raj Bohara, spokesperson and Superintendent of Police of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, informed that 24 more people have been arrested on charges of involvement in violent protests, chaotic activities and vandalism at a program organized in Tinkune on Chaitra 21.

He said, "24 more people have been arrested on charges of involvement in the said incident. Previously, 41 people were arrested and their remands were extended, and the investigation was progressed." The District Police Complex stated that they were arrested from various places in Kathmandu.
