Apr 03, Kathmandu- The Independent Students Union (ISU) of Trichandra Campus has elected a panel of the Nepal Students' Union (NSU).

According to the vote counting that ended on Thursday morning, Govinda Koirala of the NSU has been elected as the president of the Independent Students' Union of Trichandra Campus.

Koirala was elected as the president, defeating the rebel candidate of the NSU, Sagar Neupane. While Koirala received 1,215 votes, Neupane received 683 votes. Pramit Bista of the ANNISU, a candidate of seven student organizations close to the leftist party, came third, receiving 431 votes.

Similarly, Ashish Giri of the NSU has been elected as the secretary and Dushyant Gautam has been elected as the treasurer.
