Apr 03, Kathmandu- The government has invited the protesting teachers to talks.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has invited the teachers who are protesting in Kathmandu for talks.

The ministry has issued a statement saying, “As the Government of Nepal is always ready to hold relevant discussions with the teaching community and build a common understanding, we warmly welcome the representatives of education and personnel to the ministry. As the School Education Bill is awaiting approval, the ministry is always positive to convey a collective message for this".

Teachers have been demonstrating in Kathmandu since Wednesday, demanding the promulgation of the School Education Act.
