Apr 04, Kathmandu- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli met his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi in Bangkok, Thailand. After the meeting on Friday, Indian Prime Minister Modi said that the meeting with his counterpart Oli was fruitful.

Modi made the comment using Nepali language on his social media.

“The meeting with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in Bangkok was fruitful,” Modi said, adding that India has given high priority to its relations with Nepal.

He informed that various aspects of India-Nepal friendship, especially in areas like energy, connectivity, culture and digital technology, were discussed.

"We also discussed some of the major positive outcomes from this year's BIMSTEC Summit, particularly in the areas of disaster management and maritime transport," he said.
