Apr 06, Kathmandu- After about four months, air flights have started again at the Suketar airport here. Regular flights were suspended since the last week of November after two Nepal Airlines Corporation aircraft operating at Suketar Airport encountered problems.
The flight scheduled for Friday was postponed to today due to technical problems.
The Suketar Airport has reported that a plane carrying five passengers from Kathmandu took six passengers, four men and two women, from Taplejung to Kathmandu.
Domestic and foreign tourists and the general public were not able to avail air services due to the long-term suspension of air services. Sita Air and Tara Air operated flights at this airport during the tourist season a few years ago. They have now stopped their services.
