Government should take action against those responsible for the Chaitra 15 incident: Nepal

Apr 06, Kathmandu- Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairman of the Unified Socialist Party of Nepal, has complained that the state failed to provide proper security to his party office in the incident on Chaitra 15.

Inaugurating the Bagmati Province gathering of the Nepal Nepal Federation of indigenous Nationalities (Socialist) in Kathmandu on Sunday, Chairman Nepal said that although sufficient security personnel have been deployed at the party offices of the Nepali Congress and the UML, the state has not been able to protect his party office.

He said that his office was vandalized and his computer, mobile phone and files were stolen. He stressed that everyone involved in the incident on Chaitra 15 should take responsibility and the government should take action against the culprits. Chairman Nepal demanded that his party be given appropriate compensation.

He says that the objective of restoring the monarchy cannot be achieved by carrying an anarchist person.
