Apr 07, Kathmandu- A Nepal Army helicopter has rescued a woman in labor from Jajarkot.

Rajukumari Shahi, 30, of Junichande Rural Municipality-6, has been rescued by helicopter and brought to Karnali Provincial Hospital, Surkhet.

Shahi was brought from her home to the Primary Health Center Junichande Garkhakot to give birth on Saturday. Shahi was sent to the Karnali Province Hospital for further treatment after the baby was born due to excessive bleeding, according to the District Police Office, Jajarkot.

Shahi, who has given birth, is currently undergoing treatment at the Karnali Province Hospital, said her husband, Bishnu Bahadur Shahi.
