Apr 08, Kathmandu- Police have arrested six more people on charges of involvement in the violent incidents during the pro-monarchy protest in Tinkune. Six more people have been arrested and made public for their involvement in arson, vandalism and crimes against the state in the Tinkune area on Chaitra 15, informed SP Apil Raj Bohara of the District Police Range, Kathmandu.
According to him, those arrested are Amit Shah, 22, of Sarlahi, Suman Karki, 19, of Sunsari, Hemraj Tharu, 34, of Bardiya, Diwas Bogati Chhetri, 27, of Dhading, Anita Kunwar (Annie), 30, of Kavre, and Kumar Tamang, 30, of Sindhupalchowk. They have been remanded in three-day custody by the Kathmandu District Court on charges of criminal nuisance and organized crime, he said, adding that the investigation has been initiated.
