Singh Warns That The Country To Reach The Same Level As Bangladesh And Sri Lanka

Apr 08, Kathmandu- Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) leader and federal MP Deepak Bahadur Singh has warned that the country will end up in the same situation as Bangladesh and Sri Lanka if the government does not reform.

Addressing a rally organized by the RPP in support of the monarchy, Singh, who is also a member of parliament, accused the current government led by KP Oli of being mired in corruption.

"The country is on the verge of collapse. Corruption is rampant. "A month ago, they failed to appoint a governor of the Nepal Rastra Bank. This proves that this is an incompetent government," he said. "If the government does not improve, the Nepali people will bring about the situation in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka."

He claimed that the monarchy is indispensable for preserving religion, culture and traditions.

He said that the RPP leaders and cadres arrested in the Tinkune incident should be released unconditionally and a high-level commission should be formed to investigate the incident.
