Dhawal Shamsher And Rabindra Mishra To Remain On Custody For Another 15 Days

Apr 08, Kathmandu- Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Senior Vice President Rabindra Mishra and MP Dhawal Shumsher Rana, who were arrested for crimes against the state, will remain in custody for another 15 days.

The Kathmandu District Court has extended the remand of RPP Senior Vice President Mishra and MP Rana and 20 other arrested persons for 15 days for further investigation.

Kathmandu District Court Information Officer Deepak Kumar Shrestha informed that the remand of 20 people, including Rana, has been extended by 15 days for further investigation into crimes against the state.

Police produced them in court on Tuesday after their previous remand expired. The remaining individuals have been given an extension of 20 days to investigate criminal mischief and organized crime.

Two people were killed and several private properties were damaged in a royalist protest in the Tinkune area on Chaitra 15. The protesters also targeted the media.

Rana, Mishra and 20 others, who were arrested on the same evening, are in police custody. The police are preparing to file a case against them for crimes against the state.
