If the RPP wants, it can surround Baluwatar: Lingden

Apr 08, Kathmandu- Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden has said that the RPP has the power to surround the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar and shut down the rice market. Speaking at a protest rally organized in Balkhu, Chairman Lingden urged people not to consider themselves weak.

"The RPP should not be considered weak just because it left Bhrikuti Mandap and came to Balkhu. If such a rally is spread in all directions, who will you shoot?" he asked. "If the RPP wants, it can surround Baluwatar and close the rice fields."

Chairman Lingden said that he took the issue of the arrest of his leaders as a matter of concern. He objected to the arrest of Vice Chairman Rabindra Mishra and Dhawal Shamsher Rana, who is also a member of parliament.

"The way you have humiliated the elected representatives in a cage. The way you have handcuffed the Vice President. We have taken that as a lesson," he said. "If you are going to imprison people because they say they want a king, we are ready to arrest millions of people. Empty the prisons. We have seen the looting. So, make the prisons you go to better," he said.
