Meeting Between RSP MP Biraj Bhakta Shrestha And British Ambassador Fenn

Apr 09, Kathmandu- A cordial meeting and discussion was held between the British Ambassador to Nepal, Rob Fenn, and the Deputy Leader of the Parliamentary Party of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and the Coordinator of the Nepal-United Kingdom Parliamentary Friendship Group, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, at the British Embassy today.

During the meeting, in-depth discussions were held on the historical relations between Nepal and the United Kingdom, issues of international contemporary political and diplomatic concern, as well as the role and potential of the Nepal-United Kingdom (UK) Parliamentary Friendship Group.

In particular, the discussions focused on important issues such as environmental protection, preservation of cultural heritage, use of information technology, and promotion of economic diplomacy.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Ambassador Rob Fenn, Deputy Leader of the Parliamentary Party of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Coordinator of the Nepal-UK Parliamentary Friendship Group, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, Secretary of the Central Training Department of the NIPP, Kamal Subedi, Political Chief of the British Embassy, ​​Matt Walters, Political Advisor to the Ambassador, Sumit Sharma, and Pradeep Gyawali, Personal Secretary to Shrestha.

It is believed that such high-level dialogue will further strengthen Nepal-UK relations and open new dimensions of mutual understanding and cooperation.
