Apr 09, Kathmandu- Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Development of Nepal, Ram Nath Adhikari, have signed an MoU on 'Cooperation in the Field of Agriculture between India and Nepal'.
This agreement aims to strengthen the ongoing collaboration between the two nations, particularly in areas such as enhancing crop productivity, improving post-harvest management, agri-marketing systems, promoting climate resilient and sustainable agricultural practices.
The MoU reflects the shared commitment of both countries to ensure food security, uplift farmer livelihoods and work towards environmentally sustainable agriculture.
