Apr 10, Kathmandu- English club Aston Villa have lost 3-1 to French club PSG in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Aston Villa's semi-final chances have also been weakened after losing by a wide margin in the first leg at Parc des Princes.

Aston Villa took the lead in the match. Morgan Rodgers' goal in the 35th minute gave the visitors the lead, but the visitors were unable to defend it. Home team PSG equalized in the first half.

Desir Dou equalised in the 39th minute. The home team dominated the second half even more. Khvicha Kvartskhelia gave the lead early in the second half.

Nuno Mendes scored in the 49th minute to make it 2-1 for PSG, moving them closer to the semi-finals. PSG will now play the second leg at Aston Villa next week.
