Apr 10, Kathmandu- A bus coming from Sindhuli towards Hetauda met with an accident on the Dharan Chatara road section at Chisapani Bazar in Bakaiya Rural Municipality-3 of Makawanpur. Fourteen people have been injured in the accident.

According to the District Police Office, Makawanpur, the accident occurred in a reserve bus carrying Bhimphedi Rural Municipality Agriculture and Livestock Branch Bhimphedi Aguag Farmer's Tour, bearing the number Ba.Pr.06-001 Kha 0270.

Police said 14 people were injured in a bus accident on Wednesday night around 9:30 pm. Eleven of the injured have been discharged, while two have been referred for further treatment. One is being treated at the Primary Health Center, Bakaiya Clinic.

The co-driver has been taken into custody by the police after treatment, while the driver is absconding. According to the District Police Office, Makawanpur, there were 31 people on the bus, including the driver.
