Apr 10, Kathmandu- Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa has commented that the inability to enact the education bill has become a matter of shame.
Addressing the convention of Kathmandu Region No. 4, Thapa said that the inability to enact laws related to education and police is a matter of shame. Thapa said, "The laws related to education and police should have been made 3-4 years ago immediately after the promulgation of the constitution, and it is a matter of shame that they could not be made. If they had been made on time, teachers would not have had to protest now."
He said that the Congress was also involved in the delay in enacting the law.
