Foreign aid is decreasing: Foreign Minister Rana

Apr 10, Kathmandu- Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba has said that international grants are shrinking.

Addressing a program organized on the occasion of the 59th Annual General Meeting of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Industry Day, she said that international grants are shrinking and are likely to decrease further due to geopolitical reasons.

She said that the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry has helped to advance the country's economy. Stating that all Nepalis aspire for economic development and progress, she said that these aspirations can be achieved only through the activism and participation of the private sector.

She mentioned that Nepal needs to achieve sustainable development goals to become a developed nation and for that, cooperation with the private sector is necessary.
