Apr 11, Kathmandu- A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court against the decision of the Tulsipur bench of the Butwal High Court to send him to prison in the cooperative fraud case.

Today (Friday), Rabi's wife Nikita Poudel herself went to the court and filed a writ, informed Pratibha Rawal, RSP co-spokesperson. On Chaitra 22, a joint bench of Justices Ramesh Dhakal and Santhiya Parajuli had issued an order to send Ravi to prison, overturning the Rupandehi District Court's order.

The RSP has approached the Supreme Court against the order. Earlier, the Rupandehi District Court of Butwal had released Rabi on a bail of Rs 10 million in the cooperative fraud and organized crime case.
