Free Education For Daughter Of Sabin Maharjan, Who Lost His Life In Tinkune Incident

Apr 12, Kathmandu- Nepali Congress Treasurer Umesh Shrestha has pledged to provide free education to the daughter of Sabin Maharjan, who lost her life in the Tinkune incident.

Treasurer Shrestha informed that since he received information that the financial condition of the deceased Shrestha's family was weak, free education has been arranged for his daughter up to grade 12. "After discussing with Sabin's family, it was found that their financial condition was weak, they wanted to study in a good school, and as per their wish, I have arranged for Maharjan's eight-year-old daughter to study free of charge up to grade 12 at the Laboratory School in Kirtipur. The school administration and the mayor of Kirtipur Municipality have also been discussed in this regard," said Shrestha.

Leader Shrestha said that he has helped many people during his long contribution to the education sector and said that he would provide humanitarian assistance for the education of the girl who lost her guardian. Nepal Women's Association President Usha Raut Mishra and Human Rights Commission Commissioner Lily Thapa informed him about the family of the deceased and requested them to make necessary arrangements, said Congress Treasurer Shrestha.
