Apr 13, Kathmandu- The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a chargesheet against eight people in a special court on charges of irregularities in the construction of the Kimni Khola truss bridge in Triveni Municipality, Bajura.

The Commission has found that they embezzled money by overcharging for the work, using substandard materials, and causing a loss of Rs 431,000 to the municipality.

Then, the employees and office bearers of the Consumers' Committee are also involved. The Commission has demanded strict punishment for them. Spokesperson Rajendra Poudel said that zero tolerance will be adopted against corruption.
