Nepal Set Modest Target After Yuvraj's Lethal Bowling

Apr 14, Kathmandu- Oman has set a target of 118 runs for Nepal to win in the ICC U-19 World Cup Asia Zone Qualifiers. Nepal's right-arm leg-spinner Yuvraj Khatri took 5 wickets as Oman was restricted to 117.

Oman, who were invited to bat after losing the toss at the Mulpani Upper Cricket Ground, were all out for 117 runs in 38 overs. Jeet Shah top-scored for Oman with 52 runs. He hit 6 fours in 78 balls. Opener Siddharth Shankar scored 16 runs and Prathish Hema Ramesh scored 10 runs, while no other batsman could score double figures.

Nepal's Yubaraj Khatri took the most wickets with 5. He gave away a total of 15 runs including 2 maidens in 7 overs. Santosh Yadav took 2 wickets while Dayanand Mandal, Aparajit Poudel and Ashok Dhami took 1 wicket each.
