Apr 17, Kathmandu- The Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is scheduled to visit Nepal next week. Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister, is scheduled to pay a two-day visit to Nepal.
According to sources, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Al Nahyan is scheduled to pay a two-day visit to Nepal on 9-10 Baisakh (22-23 April) at the invitation of Foreign Minister Dr. Arju Rana Deuba.
During the visit of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Al Nahyan to Nepal, there will be no meeting with his Nepali counterpart Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba. Foreign Minister Dr. Rana will be on a visit to Thailand while Al Nahyan is on a visit to Nepal.
Sheikh Abdullah, a powerful member of the UAE royal family, has been the country's foreign minister since 2006. Nine years ago, he visited Nepal in April 2016 at the invitation of then foreign minister Kamal Thapa.
