Apr 18, Kathmandu- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has urged people to focus on development and good governance with confidence, as there is no truth in the rumors of a change in the current government formed in partnership with major parties.
Inaugurating the administrative building of Ichchakamana Rural Municipality in Chitwan on Friday, Prime Minister Oli said that the government is clear in its goals and destination as parties with history have come together to provide stability, development, and good governance to the country.
"We are fully committed to making the country well-governed, Nepal prosperous and Nepalese happy. You too should join this campaign with confidence. Let us all build the country together," said Prime Minister Oli. "We have made arrangements for local governments during the constitution-making process with the idea of building Singha Durbar in every village. I am confident that you will pay attention to the effective implementation of the constitution and the protection of the political system we have achieved, keeping in mind your rights and duties."
Prime Minister Oli also said that he would bring a housing construction program for the Chepang community. Prime Minister Oli also expressed confidence that the new building would facilitate good governance and service delivery in the rural municipality.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh, Chief of Bagmati Province Deepak Prasad Devkota, and others participated in the program.
