RPP protest: 7 people including Lingden taken into custody

Apr 20, Kathmandu- The number of people arrested in the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) protest on Sunday has reached seven.

The number has reached seven with the arrest of Yuva Morcha Chairman Kailash Katwal. He was arrested by the police from inside Singha Durbar. He was protesting inside Singha Durbar as part of Chairman Rajendra Lingden's team.

Seven people, including Chairman Lingden, Gyanendra Shahi, Buddhiman Tamang, Amar Pariyar, Saroj Ghimire, Kiran Duwal and Katwal, were arrested, said the SP and spokesperson of the complex, Appel Raj Bohara.

All those arrested have been kept in the District Police Complex Bhadrakali.
