Apr 21, Kathmandu- The online payment process for the electronic driver's license system has started under the Koshi Transport Improvement Program.
The system was formally launched on Monday from the Transport Management Service Office, Sunsari, located in Itahari. The service was inaugurated by Koshi Province's Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Rewatiraman Bhandari.
Through this system, service recipients will be able to pay the driving license fee online from their own mobile or computer without having to stand in line. In addition, the hassle of standing in line when applying for a license, renewing it, and paying any license-related fees has been eliminated.
After getting the renewal done, the doctor will update it online the same evening and pay the bill online the next day. From next Shrawan, once the printing of licenses starts in the province, you will only have to visit the office to get the license.
This service has been started in all transport offices in Koshi Province. It is said that due to some technical problems in Biratnagar, the online payment process will start from Tuesday.
