Apr 23, Kathmandu- Manish Jha, MP from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has expressed grief over the death of Sudip Neupane of Rupandehi in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India.
Paying tribute to the deceased, MP Jha has drawn the attention of the government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Nepali Embassy in India, and the Indian Embassy in Nepal to take this incident seriously. Neupane, who was studying engineering in Nepal, was killed in the attack while he was on vacation. At least 26 people were killed and 17 were seriously injured in a terrorist attack on a tourist spot in Kashmir on Tuesday.
The attack was targeted at tourists in a place called Baisaran in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Baisaran is located 6 kilometers from Pahalgam. According to Indian media, Baisaran is called 'Mini Switzerland' because of its beauty. The place is popular among tourists. Tourists who had gone there for sightseeing were shot dead on Tuesday. It is said that the terrorists took control of the tourists and shot them dead after asking their names. The dead included citizens of Nepal and the UAE, as well as those from India's Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Odisha.
