Apr 24, Kathmandu- A soldier has been killed in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, India.

The Army's White Knight Corps gave this information in a post on social media.

"One of our brave men was seriously injured in the initial encounter and later succumbed to his injuries despite medical efforts," the post said.

The encounter is still ongoing.

A terrorist attack took place in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. In this attack, 27 people, including a Nepali, were killed and many others were injured.
