Minister Pant Calls For Talks With Protesting Teachers

Apr 25, Kathmandu- Minister for Education, Science and Technology Raghuji Pant has called the protesting teachers for talks. The newly appointed Minister Pant has called the teachers who have been protesting in Kathmandu since Chaitra 20 demanding the promulgation of the School Education Act for talks.

He mentioned that attention has been drawn to the movement of the teachers who have been protesting demanding the promulgation of the School Education Act.

Pant has called for talks to be held as soon as possible to find collective solutions through continuous dialogue and discussion with the teachers, as in the past.

The Nepal Teachers Association, which is leading the movement, has not yet made any public response to this. Previously, the federation has refused to participate in the talks, saying that the previous agreements had not been implemented.
