The song, released by the production team on Thursday, features Pawan Giri singing alongside Jhuma. The author of this song is Harka Saud.

Based on local folklore, this song carries the sentiment of love. The song tells the story of a tender-hearted girlfriend who sits at home worrying about her lover in Lahore, who is suffering from the sun, water, and river.

The production team has stated that the song is the main story of the film. The video of the song features the lead actors of the film, hero Saugat Malla and heroine Geetanjali Thapa.

The film production team has stated that ‘Jar’ is based on a real incident that happened in Nepali society in the 1800s. This movie is based on the historical story of the writer Indra Bahadur Rai.
