Samsung's Thinnest Phone 'S25 Edge', These Are The Leaked Feature

Apr 26, Kathmandu- Samsung surprised smartphone enthusiasts around the world with a demo phone when it unveiled its latest flagship series, the S25. The model, dubbed the ‘S25 Edge’, was claimed to be Samsung’s thinnest phone yet.

Tech reviewers and smartphone enthusiasts who attended the event were not able to touch the phone. Now, various features of the same Samsung S25 Edge have been leaked.

Famous leakster Evan Blass has posted on X. He has given information about the features available on the phone. The post he has posted contains a photo of the S25A, a press release from the company (which has not been officially released yet). According to the post, the Galaxy S25 Edge will have a titanium frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramics will be on the back for the protection of the phone.

Similarly, it will have a 200-megapixel main camera. The width of this model will be 5.8 mm and it will weigh 163 grams. If it is this width, this phone will be Samsung's thinnest phone to date.

Its display size will be the same as that of the S25 Plus. Earlier, Samsung had launched the Galaxy Alpha as a thin phone in 2014. This phone was as thin as the base model of the current Galaxy S25.

Although the S25 edge is thin, it is said to be equally strong and can easily withstand the usual bumps and knocks during daily use. The phone is also claimed to provide equally high-quality performance in multitasking (using multiple apps and features at the same time), gaming, and streaming.

It will have a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which will help the battery to last for a long time.

This model will run on Samsung's latest UI One UI 7.0 and it will also feature Galaxy AI. The phone with up to 12 GB of RAM will be available in 256 GB and 512 GB internal storage variants.

The price of this phone is estimated to be 1.5 million Korean won (about 1049 US dollars) for the 256 GB storage variant and 1.63 million Korean won (about 1140 US dollars) for the 512 GB variant. This is the price applicable in South Korea. It is said that the phone will be more expensive in other countries.

According to SamMobile, a platform that provides exclusive information about Samsung, the Galaxy S25 Edge will be officially launched in South Korea on May 13. The phone will go on sale in South Korea and China from May 23 and will be available in Samsung stores in the US on May 30.
