Apr 27, Kathmandu- Nepali Congress leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula has said that parties should move forward on the basis of mutual trust.
Expressing his views on the basis of party politics on the occasion of the commencement of the 18th session of the National Assembly on Sunday, Sitaula said that parties and major parties have formed governments together many times and that mutual trust should not be allowed to turn into distrust.
He opined that the remaining tasks of the peace process have not yet been completed due to differences between the parties.
He said that if internal unity is weakened, external forces will intervene and the country itself may become weak, so the government should work with the opposition to quickly complete the remaining tasks of the peace process.
Sitaula emphasized that the opposition should not only protest for the sake of protest but also play a constructive role. He said that everyone should move forward together to make the current system successful. Similarly, Sitaula urged teachers to return to school, saying that the government will fulfill the demands of teachers to the extent that the country can afford them.
He said that teachers should also pay attention to the capacity of the state.
